This is my journal. I am keeping it brief. You can read a fuller independent description with photos if you go to the home page of America By Bicycle www.ABBike.com and click ride journals, Look for Across America North 2010. I've been reading their 2009 journal and getting reasonably intimidated!! As in..day 5, 117 miles, 4,919 feet of climbing. I'm getting on my bike right now.

    I have appointed my son, Jo, to be the control center. He will know where I am, and where I'm staying, and can deal with emergencies, when he's not out on the golf course! I have GPS navigation on my phone, so at least I'll know where I am lost.
