Today we passed through the rolling green hills of Wisconsin (not unlike England). Of the 93 miles, we rode 34 miles on a railway trackbed which passed through three long tunnels. It was too dark to ride inside and in the middle you couldn't see either end. Our bikes have front and rear lamps, although tour company rules prohibit riding after dark. At mechanics, I replaced my chain, as recommended every 3,000 miles, as they stretch and damage the sprockets.
