Day 43: Niagara Falls

We have our last rest day here. The next seven days will complete the continental crossing. Here are some different views of the falls, showing what 1.5 million gallons of water per second looks like! I also found an hour to do laundry, though it might have quicker in this river.

Day 42: Blantford, ON to Niagara Falls, NY

A really enjoyable ride. Of course, the sight of the majestic falls overwhelms anything else in the day. The volume of water careening over the edge is stupendous. But we found rural delights along the route, and I had fun riding with Kate, Sandy and New Jersey Mark. Lunch was eaten overlooking the falls and we got soaked walking along the promenade. The hotel is on the American side of the river, after walking our bikes through customs.
