Day 17: Dubois to Riverton, WY

We had a cold start to the day..39 F, and bundled up with arm and leg warmers (as we have done for several days). Everyone was afraid of the East wind, so we left early before it began to pick up...as it did by noon. I rode with Sandy all day, an experienced cyclist who gives me good advice. We joined a pace line near the end in which you ride in a concentrated group to reduce wind resistance. The 80 miles were fantastic, beginning with beautiful rocky canyons and terminating in high desert. Sunny and 68 F by the time we reached Riverton.
